How can we help?
Questions about your training data, a message that won’t send, or your account? Get in touch.
Include your iOS version, mammoth’s version from Settings → About mammoth, and what happened. Please don’t email passwords, account tokens or private health files.
Start with your training
Sign in with Apple, then review the cloud and OpenAI sharing explanation. If you agree, you can chat with your coach. Apple Health is optional: connect it for available Watch workouts, or use the + button in chat to import an existing FIT activity file.
Health import starts with your latest workout. Older workouts can arrive while you use mammoth. Open Training to see what has been saved and what is still being shared with your coach.
Try a sample workout
No Apple Watch? This fictional 45-minute, 8 km run lets you try FIT import. It contains 541 heart-rate readings and no GPS route or real athlete data.
- Download the file in Safari. If it opens a preview, use Share → Save to Files.
- In mammoth, tap + in the conversation and choose the FIT file from Files. Safari downloads are usually in Downloads; iCloud Drive and On My iPhone may both be available.
- Review the preview, import it, then open Training. Once sharing finishes, ask your coach about the sample run on September 7, 2026.
Common questions
A workout is missing
Check progress in Training and retry a failed sync if offered. Check mammoth’s read permissions in Apple Health. Apple does not tell mammoth precisely which read categories you declined, so an empty result does not prove there were no workouts.
A workout must finish uploading before the cloud coach can use it. Available recordings, permissions and background conditions affect when it arrives.
My FIT file won’t import
Export the original activity as a .fit file, then select it through + in mammoth’s conversation. mammoth accepts one supported workout per file, up to 10 MB. ZIP archives and files containing multiple workouts are not supported.
Keep the original if a file is rejected. Send support the error message and source app name, not the health file itself. Reimporting the same file should not create a second workout.
A message did not send
AI coaching needs an internet connection and sharing permission. If a message fails, use its retry action. If mammoth asks you to sign in again, do that before retrying. Avoid sending the same text as several new messages while a reply is in progress.
How do I manage sharing or delete my account?
Open Settings → Data and privacy for the sharing explanation. In Settings, pause cloud coaching to stop new uploads and AI replies, or choose Delete my mammoth account to remove account data. Deleting mammoth data does not change the original recordings in Apple Health.
Recovery sharing is optional and separately controlled. Read the privacy policy or email privacy@trainhappy.coach.
